Premier Sixes Newquay Sunday League is the now without doubt the UK's best interactive small sided league. Premier Sixes was set up in February 2005 with the aim of providing players with a greater footballing experience, that continues once the final whistle has been blown.

Sunday February 7th

Sides in the red- Latest Update
The Business have now been removed from the league as Ben Verrinder failed to show for the second week. They will now be replaced by a new team in the league next week. Ben Verrinder will also be unable to play again at P6 until he sorts out the £66.25 debt that they left the league with.
Crime Watch have become the first team to have points deducted after they only paid £10 despite being £53.07 in arrears. Docking points is not something we like doing but we have been banging on about it for long enough and have held back from doing it for several weeks now.
Quite a few teams have now got too far behind with their match fees and once more it is starting to get beyond a joke. There are now 5 weeks of the season left and although I know a couple of these sides will be rectifying their balances this week a few have been sliding for too long. Point deductions WILL be in place from this week forwards to the end of the season if any of these sides pay less than their match fee. The Golly's and Crime Watch are now facing 3 point penalties EVERY week if they dont start clearing their fee's. There will be a review at the end of the season in five weeks and any sides too far behind that really haven't bothered to make an effort to chip away at their debt will be removed and if necessary the worst offenders will be banned from playing at P6 as they have failed to make any effort to pay off their arrears. At the end of the day if other sides followed suit there would be no P6 league.

Sides too far in the red.

Crime Watch -£65.07
Golly's -£70.50

P6 Shield Semi-Finals
Some would say the best two teams in the league ended up making it through to the final of the Champions Cup as Premier Division leaders Real Egloshayle overcame the Hurricanes 2-0 to book a meeting with Cosmos Revolution who overcame Men United 2-0 also in the all division 2 clash.
Men United 0 - 2 Cosmos Revolution
Hurricanes 0 - 2 Real Egloshayle

A display of truly abysmal reffereeing saw P6 lose 4-3 away to Lanreath after extra-time in the semi-finals of this seasons Junior Cup. P6 had to play the last 45 minutes of the match with 10 men after having a man sent off in somewhat dubious circumstances. Lanreath scored the decisive goal with 10 minutes of extra time left when a foul committed outside the rea was adjudged to have been in by the ref. Despite the final 10 minutes being played mostly around the Lanreath area P6 couldn’t force an equaliser.

Sunday 7th February
Darren Hambley -
Real Egloshayle
Potentially Hambley's first ever player of the week despite being a P6 regular since 1876. Hambley is usually the midfield engine of the Egloshayle cause and tonight he once more drove them on but this time with a mix of flair with an eye for the unusual as he help Egloshayle extend thier lead at the top of the table in a 2-0 victory over P6FC. Hambley bust out several moves but his finest moment came when he produced a full stretch diving header to clear a ball which was on the floor (astro burns on the chin is a P6 first). SKY pundit Chris Kamara told Jeff Stelling that Hambley is 'some player ... might be the best!'

Sunday 7th February
Preperation H
Prep H take down the team of the day accolade after producing two impresive victories. They saw off the challenge of P6FC to book a place in the Shield final and then they took out the Golly's with a 2-0 victory to move to second in the Premiership table for the first time in their history as they now become the main challengers to Egloshayle for the Premiership title.
