Premier Sixes Newquay Sunday League is the now without doubt the UK's best interactive small sided league. Premier Sixes was set up in February 2005 with the aim of providing players with a greater footballing experience, that continues once the final whistle has been blown.

P6 expansion next season
There is alot of interest from new teams entering the league and existing teams entering reserve teams. The league restarts in 6 weeks. So if you want to enter a second team or a brand new team leave a message on the Facebook group or send an email to info@premiersixes.com. The new teams interested so far are: Matt Kelly, Danny Jones, Adam Herman, FC United Reserves, Some Players FC
P6 Picture of the Week
FC United in their new Truro City kit. The new kit didn't bring them much luck as they lost their cup semi 3-0 and were then held 0-0 by Creed in their league game, but at least they are now the best dressed team in the league.

Sides in the red- Latest Update
Point deductions WILL kick in for all sides more than £25 in arrears after the matches on Sunday 1st August who FAIL TO PAY AT LEAST THEIR MATCH FEE. Charlies Angels are staring at a 5 point deduction or being removed from the league and their playing squad ban from P6 after plunging to more the £70 in arrears after another non payment. The remaining side on the list need to pay at least there full match fe to avoid point deductions. The list of sides around or above the £25 arrears are as follows.

Charlie's Angels -£72.50 - Face being removed from P6 and having the entire playing squad banned from P6

It will be a repeat of last seasons Champions Cup Final with Cosmos looking to gain revenge over Real Egloshayle.

Premier Division
The Brook retain their lead at the top of the table after seeing off bottom A6 Milan 3-0, but Egloshayle maintain the pressure with a 4-0 win over 3rd placed YWO to effectively end YWO's title challenge. At the bottom the Hurricanes and A6 lost yet again to stay 3 points adrift however, A6 will move out of the bottom two if Charlies stay in the league as they face a massive 5-point deduction due to the poor state of their finances this week. P6 and Mean Machine both claimed victories which ensure their top flight survival.

Division One
Wadebridge reduced Cosmos's lead at the top after seeing off second placed Guantanamo 2-0. Cosmos were held by the Untouchaballs to a 1-1 draw.Real Sosobad are probably safe from the drop after a resounding 6-1 win over Inter Meeeow who drop into the bottom two courtesy of the Smurfs 2-1 victory over Six on Fire which see's the Smurfs move out of the relegation zone for the first time this season.

Division Two

DC United retain a 3 point advantage with 3 games to play after sharing the spoils with FC United in a 1-1 draw. Six Offenders and Creed both missed the opportunity to go second and narrow the gap on leaders DC as they both crashed to defeats at the hands of Gevo and the Goonies. Men United defeated Top gear Dogs 3-0 to move off the bottom of the table leaving Top Gear who were amongst the pre-season promotion favourites propping up the table. Gevo's win over Men United see's them maintain their late push for promotion.

P6 Expansion
P6 is expanding to include a fourth 8-team division. The new division will start when the new season starts on August 22nd. There are currently 5 teams ready for the new division. If anyone is keen to enter a reserve team (and receive reduced match fees of £20 per team), put a new team in or know someone that is keen to put a new team in then either let me know on here or send an email to info@premiersixes.com before all the spots go)

Power Balance Picture of the week - Believe the hype!
This guy is pretty shit at football, apparently it is only the Power Balance that makes him almost average. Some player.

P6 Legends #22 - YouWantOne.com (2010 season)

The most recent addition to the list is the YWO team that have just completed the latest season. They didnt set the world alight and they didn't win anything. The reason for their legendary status......They managed to stay up in the Premier Division finishing 5th and amassing 18 points from 14 games by scoring just 6 goals (the second worst attacking record in the league).
This remarkable feat was achieved with the help of the signing of Tom Berry as their GK 3 games into the season. Prior to Berry's arrival they had lost 2 games 6-0 and won one 1-0 as they looked certainities for the drop. From the moment Berry arived they tightened up at the back and over the course of their next 11 matches they comfortably secured their safety losing just 2 of their last 11 matches. YWO became the toughest team to break down due to Berry's performances in goal and their use of a 3-4 man defence and reliance on a long ball game from the back. This tyle didn't win over the hearts of any purists but it wasn't half effective. Their 9 clean sheets over the course of the season was better than any other team including all of the divisional winners.

Jason Whittford - Real Sosobad
Real Sosobad are one of the 3 Dan Code teams that play an ultra defensive style of football. Last night Whittford aka Chris Samba, one of the many defenders on the P6 / Sosobad / DC books excelled in each game as the three sides finished the night with 2 wins and a draw. Whittford has been one of the reasons the 3 teams have such amazing defensive records (P6 have the best defence in the entire league). Last night however Whittford showed his attacking prowess as he claimed his first goal of the season in Sosobad's 6-1 drubbing of Inter Meeeow to all but guarentee they won't be sucked into the relegation battle. P6 pundit Ross Fallons quipped ' he is some player'.
